We Are Cocoa initiative!

We are COCOA Initiative, a 501(c)(3) Non-profit Organization in Oklahoma City. Sade Sogunro founded COCOA Initiative in hopes to help foster the next generation of black girls. The program aims to nurture the next generation of women of color by providing mentorship through self-esteem building, wellness programs, academic support and financial literacy resources.

Our mission is to ensure teen African American girls receive the resources and support necessary to lead a successful life.

We take a wholistic approach to physical and mental wellness. Providing self-esteem building and financial literacy mental health resources. For physical health, we provide haircare and hygeine resources.
